Paintings by Don Earle
Don Earle's wonky art exhibit open's this Friday night July 19
at 7 p.m. at the East Village Artist's Collective at 757 Dundas
EVAC is located on the south side of Dundas Street
-one and one half blocks west of the Aeolian Hall
-just east of the intersection of English Street
-there is an EVAC sign at the front of the building.
The exhibit is entitled A Celebration of East London Architecture,
and as the summer progresses it has evolved into a celebration
of the foliage blocking the pristine view of East London
architecture and will likely be re-titled 50 shades of viridian.
There is window space afforded artists at EVAC, so for the next
month or so there will be "wonky" paintings on display in the
front window which can be viewed simply by driving east and/or
west bound on Dundas Street. If you like the art work you see,
"honk for the wonk."
If you don't like it, just keep driving.
While the show officially launches Friday July 19, the gallery will
be open every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 1 to 4
until August 14.
